Proposed Facilities Master Plan for SMC’s Main Campus


Project Description
On March 5, 2019, the Board of Trustees approved an agreement with DLR Group to prepare
a Facilities Master Plan for the Main Campus. The Master Plan will generate and articulate
the long-term vision for SMC. With input from the SMC on-campus communities (Board
of Trustees, administrators, faculty, staff, and students) and different off-campus
interest groups, the plan will create a practical, data-driven, and visionary road
map for SMC that looks to develop strategies to enhance the user experience, promote
academics and address land use, buildings, transportation, parking, utilities, sustainability,
and open space.
As of December 31, 2019, the team has 992 in-person contacts with the SMC community members, and 3,491 unduplicated visitors visited the website.
