A class will only show up in Canvas when your instructor "publishes" the material,
and that might be during the first week of class! Ask your instructor if you want
to know what date they'll publish your class.

SMC Google Apps now lets you use Google Drive, Google Docs, and everything on its SMC menu.

What new services you get:
SMC Microsoft 365: OneDrive, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote become available. Your student license ends almost immediately after your last semester taking an SMC class ends.
Student employees of SMC can use Microsoft Teams if their supervisor requests it.

- Some SMC classes classes connect over the Internet to computers in actual SMC computer labs, using the "Virtual Computer Lab". You will need to install "Citrix Workspace" on your device.
- There are a few classes that give students in the class a special license for non-SMC services available over the Internet.

It is recommended that you download a PDF or print a paper copy of your unofficial transcript from Corsair Connect for your future personal use.
Your SMC student license for MIcrosoft 365 ends almost immediately. Transfer any data you want to keep to a non-SMC personal data storage location before the end of your last semester!
Your SMC Google Gmail student email account may become restricted at any time to only emailing @smc.edu addresses. Your access to Google Drive, Docs, and other applications may end at any time. Transfer any emails or other SMC Google account data you want to keep to a non-SMC personal account or data storage location as soon as possible!

If you file a new admission application, your SMC online services revert to the same same restricted level as shown in the row above for "After being admitted".
All SMC online services through Corsair Connect and SMC SIGN-ON end!
smc.peoplegrove.com (the SMC alumni and future alumni network) is no longer accessible through SMC SIGN-ON, but you can set up another login method.
SMC online services can be reactivated at a restricted level if you file an admission application and are readmitted. Readmission means the same thing as admission.
A readmission application finds your old records and keep contact information current with the Office of Admissions and Records. You keep the same Student ID number.
Admission applications are only good for six months, unless you enroll in a class and remain on a class roster.
Online services after readmission are at the same restricted level as shown in the row above for "After being admitted".
