OIR REPORT IMPLEMENTATION
On October 14, 2024, a workplace violence shooting occurred at Santa Monica College’s Center for Media & Design resulting in the murder of Custodial Operations Manager Felicia Hudson. In the aftermath of the shooting, the College undertook a review of its response and, on December 12, 2024, the Board of Trustees authorized the retention of the OIR Group to conduct an independent critical-incident after-action review.
