Santa Monica Community College District offers District-Paid Group Life and AD&D Insurance to employees administered through Sun Life Financial. Following employee groups are eligible for the coverage:
- Classified Employee (20+ hrs./wk.)
- Classified Managers
- Confidential Employees
- Project Manager (20+ hrs./wk.)
- Full-time Faculty
- Academic Administrator
- Board of Trustees
- Personnel Commissioners
- Police Officers
Note: Temporary Employees & Adjunct Faculty are not eligible for district-paid life insurance.
